Dr. Josh Oncken, D.C.
Chiropractic Physician
The Emergency Room doctor told my parents that the pain was in my head… I chose chiropractic because I knew firsthand the amazing results that no other healthcare option offered.
After a jump off a fence when I was twelve, my back hurt so bad I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t stand, I was miserable. That night my mom and I went to the local ER, after three and a half hours they didn’t know what was wrong. My x-rays were negative, nothing was broken, and they simply couldn’t give us a reason for my pain. They told my mom to give me pain medication, but it wouldn’t help, because the pain “was in my head.” The next day very frustrated, my mom’s friend told us about her chiropractor. We had no “good or bad” feelings about them, we just plain didn’t know.
To make a long story short, three days later as we were driving home from his office, I was PAIN-FREE and I thought to myself, that would be a great job….helping people, treating the cause of disease, not masking the symptoms.
